Our bridal slippers are ivory and pearl-embellished, embroidered with either "BRIDE" or "I DO", at $60 a pair. The "BRIDE" pair comes in sizes 36-37 through to 42-43; the "I DO" pair runs 36-37 to 40-41.
They're made for the getting-ready hours — hair and makeup, photographs, the first glass of champagne — and sit naturally alongside a bridal slip or bridal robe in morning photos. Free shipping Australia-wide, dispatched from our Sydney studio.
What Size Bridal Slippers Should I Order?
Each size covers two European numbers — 36-37, 38-39, 40-41, and 42-43 on the "BRIDE" pair. Order the size range that contains your usual European fit. If you sit right on the boundary between two ranges, get in touch before ordering and we'll help you choose.
The "I DO" pair is currently available up to 40-41. The "BRIDE" pair goes one range further, to 42-43.
Can My Bridesmaids Wear These Too?
Not these ones. Both pairs are embroidered "BRIDE" or "I DO", which makes them specifically the bride's. A bridesmaid wearing them in the getting-ready photos would look like a mistake rather than a match.
If you want a coordinated morning, the easier place to match your party is robes and slips. Choose one robe style across the group and let the bride's slippers be the detail that sets her apart.
What Do You Wear Bridal Slippers With?
A robe or a slip, during the hours before you change into your gown. They exist to replace heels for the part of the day that runs longest — hair, makeup, photographs, and standing around waiting — which is usually three to five hours before anyone sees the dress.
Pearl detailing on the slipper photographs well against satin and lace, so they hold up in the getting-ready shots rather than being the thing you crop out.
Will I Wear Them Again After the Wedding?
Honestly, the embroidery makes them wedding-specific. But underneath it they're an ordinary pair of comfortable slippers, and most brides keep wearing them — the "BRIDE" pair in particular tends to become a honeymoon and first-anniversary thing rather than a one-morning purchase.
They also make a straightforward bridal shower, hens or engagement gift. If you're buying for someone else and don't know her size, the two-number size ranges give you more room for error than shoes would.
